Hey, There .....                        Most probably Issue Occurs in Windows, Linux and Dual Boot Operating System is BOOTMGR MISSING & GRUB RESCUE. This type of issue occurs cause of infected files,viruses and some files deleted by user in root directory.When this type of issue appear in front of some users they always try to format their device,tries to reinstall and they do lost their important data and all the installed applications because this is not a good resolution for this type of issue. of course you can do this but after tying this Commands If issue doesn't resolve..
